Our inner narratives have profound, subconscious control over the way we live, work, and interact. Coaching is the craft of paying attention, taking control back, and growing as an individual or professional.
My role as a coach is to partner with you on this journey. I don’t have prepackaged answers. Instead, I use thoughtful questions and facilitated exercises to help you examine and rewrite the beliefs and emotions that shape how and what you pursue—or don’t pursue. From that new place of awareness, you will be better equipped to navigate intentionally and confidently toward the things that matter to you.
I believe deeply in the power of coaching because I’ve benefited enormously from it. I began my career in film and photography before veering into the creative agency world. In one case, I felt unactivated, whereas in the second, I felt a lack of alignment between my personal-and-professional selves. Coaching helped me shift my own narratives in important and countless ways. It allowed me to get very clear on my personal values and strengths, and to act from this center of gravity. Ultimately, that unlocked professional—and hence personal—fulfillment I’d not experienced earlier in my career.
I later had the opportunity to participate in my then-employer’s Executive Coaching program, which taught me the significance of mental models in the context of leaders, teams, and organizations. This, too, had a striking impact on my work shaping organizational stories, and empowering leaders and teams to rally around shared purpose.
Today, I’m trained in the Co-Active Training Institute coaching methodology, and I lend my corporate and personal experience to my clients. I believe my clients are naturally creative, resourceful, and whole, and I pursue work with individuals who are curious and committed to growth and transformation.
That’s enough about me. I look forward to learning more about you.
